1° DAY- ARRIVAL
Arrival at Palermo airport, transfer to the hotel. Welcome cocktail, dinner and overnight.

2° DAY - PALERMO
The morning will be dedicated to the discover of Palermo. The town has a history that goes back for thousands years that enriches it with an incredible artistic and architectonic heritage.
A tour in the town will allow you to discover the most important monuments of the town: the cathedral, the Palatine chapel, piazza Pretoria, the four corners.
Lunch with the local delicious street food: pane e panelle, arancini ed altro. After lunch departure to Monreale, which cathedral, wonderful example of Arab- Norman architecture, is famous all over the world for the mosaics that cover all its interior.
3° DAY - CEFALU' - PALERMO
Departure to Cefalù and walking tour of the picturesque village settled at the bottom of a high and impressive rock. Rich of narrow streets to discover and sea views, Cefalù is proud on its ancient cathedral, beautiful example of Arab- Norman architecture in Sicily.
Lunch in one of the many restaurants in front on the sea.
In the afternoon back to Palermo to continue visit more of the town or for a walk in the city centre.
4° DAY SEGESTA - ERICE
Departure to Segesta. Settled like Erice by Elimyans, today Segesta is an interesting archaeological park with a very well preserved temple built on a hill, in a lonely position and a theatre.
After the tour we will continue to Erice, a small medieval village, perched on the top of Mount San Giuliano, at about 750 mts above sea level (2100 feet). From Erice you have a breathtaking view on Trapani, its salt - works and the coast.
Lunch and guided tour of the village. Free time for a walk on your own and opportunity to taste the local pastries.
Dinner and overnight in the area of Castelvetrano/ Mazara del Vallo
5° giorno - MARSALA- le saline - Mozia
In the morning walking tour in the city centre of Marsala (including the fish market and the tappish museum).
Wine tasting and light lunch in a local vinery.
In the afternoon departure to the "Imbarcadero storico" (landing -stage) to take the small boat on which we will do the circumnavigation of Mozia. This small island in the lagoon called Stagnone, Laguna dello Stagnone, was chosen by Phoenicians to settle an important colony.
After the boat tour we will stop on the island to visit the small museum.
Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
6° DAY AGRIGENTO -SCALA DEI TURCHI - MAZARA DEL VALLO
Departure to Agrigento, the ancient Akragas of the Greeks, described by the poet Pindaro as "the most beautiful town of immortals ". Close to the modern town there is one of the most enchanting archaeological areas in Sicily know as "the Valley of the temples", witness of the richness and glory of the Greek town.
In the afternoon walking tour in Mazara del Vallo, described by many writers as "the balcony on the Mediterranean sea", settled at the mouth of the river Mazaro, it is only 200 kilometers far from the northern coast of Africa. On the borders between Greeks and Phoenicians the town growth becoming an important commercial centre during the Roman age. In the town museum is hosted a bronze statue dated to the IV century B.C., probably made by Prassitele.
7° DAY - SELINUNTE - CASTELVETRANO
In the morning tour of Selinunte, one of the largest archaeological area in the Mediterranean sea. Situated at the mouth of the river Selinon, where still growth the wild parsley that gave the name to the river and to the town (selinon means parsley in ancient Geek), Selinunte thanks to its position had rich trades especially with Phoenicians who leaved in west Sicily.
Guided tour of Castelvetrano, with a characteristic city centre and the Church of San Domenico, known as "the Sistine chapel of Sicily. The church is a masterpiece of the Sicilian mannerism with stuccos and frescoes of fine workmanship.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
8° Day - After breakfast transfer to Palermo airport
