SALVATORE fICARRA

Salvatore Ficarra born in Piazza Armerina has always loved his city, its history, its secrets, its beauties and traditions, and this led him to graduate in tourism sciences. He obtained the qualification of tourist guide of the Sicily region, which allows him to live the territory as an "open book". Constantly in contact with people from different backgrounds, ages and cultures, he considers that it is essential to transmit not only his knowledge, but perhaps even more his passion for art, archeology, historical heritage. For years he has worked with agencies and educational institutions, which has allowed him to gain experience in guiding all kind of groups ( adults and children). His constant attempt is to provide not only a beautiful lesson in history and art, but to allow visitors to penetrate the depths of the landscape and food and wine beauties of his region.
