Antonella InFerrera

After studying and working in different regions of Italy, Antonella then decided to return home to Sicily.

At the University of Catania she completed her B.A. in Political Studies. Following her graduation she began her working life as a tourist guide.
As Antonella enjoys contact with people she soon found that her new profession as a tourist guide was to become her life’s calling.
She enjoys showing visitors from all over the world the wonderful island of Sicily which is rich in nature and landscapes, history and culture.
Antonella often says, “I’m so lucky because I live in an incredible place, rich in all its aspects and through working in tourism I have the opportunity to introduce my guests to this incredible island".
Her goal is to pass on to them her love of her country with the hope that they are also smitten by the charm of Sicily.

Because Antonella enjoys working with small groups of people she took and passed her driving test to become a professional driver. She is now legally qualified to take groups of up to eight passengers by road as a driver and a guide.
Although her work in tourism is very demanding she still finds time to continue as a horse riding volunteer for therapeutic purposes.
Antonella is a fervent animal lover. She has her own dogs and cats. 
In Tuscany she was involved in agritourism which is an agriculturally based operation. She acted as a tour leader on horseback excursions and with that experience she is now planning tours in Sicily involving horse riding trips, archaeological parks and places of historical interest.
